On Saturday, 07 June 2014, 15 people gathered at the Midway Point Sports Bar and Grill where they enjoyed lunch, conversation, and the program about Dayton Hamvention® 2014.

Chapter table at Ham-Com was discussed. Keith Parris, WB5RBA, was assigned task of printing QCWA national membership applications for distribution at the chapter Ham-Com table.
Chapter website was discussed. Keith Parris, WB5RBA, agreed to establish a new chapter website on WordPress.com. Budget of $18 per year for the new website was approved. Mont O’Leary, K0CYN, contributed $20 to establish the new website.
Val Erwin, W5PUT, presented a program about his trip to Dayton Hamvention® 2014. This is the 49th consecutive year that Val has made this pilgrimage. During intermittent rain people headed indoors. W5KUB.com streamed video of Hamvention® 2014. Hara Arena is a multi-use venue. Yaesu punched participant’s ticket as they gave them a Yaesu cap to ensure that only one cap was given to each participant. Some people leave Hamvention® then discover that they failed to go through buildings. RF Concepts, owner of Alpha, bought Ten-Tec a couple of weeks prior to Hamvention® 2014. The owner of Ten-Tec wanted to retire.
